SWAT REPORT # 119 12-29-2008

2Co 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

This last phrase is true in so many ways in the life and ministry of a Christian. At this time of year we tend to want to take knowledge of some or all of them. WELL…our ministry has a BRAND NEW BABY. Miracle of miracles it was reported in #117 report that land and a building was given to us by a very wealthy business man here in Brasov. When I sent the photos in that report some of you were questioning, because of the condition of the building, what the rejoicing was all about. See photo #119.01…this is the "BEFORE" photo from that report. We set a deadline of 6 weeks to have the first service in order to have the concern and worry off of the shoulders of the Logan family. They have to return to USA for a medical furlough for Mrs. Logan's foot operation and they left this morning. This six weeks deadline was not feasible but we pushed and worked and we made it happen. We had our first service in our new building yesterday, Dec. 28 and what a blessed event this was. Photos #119.02, #119.03 show some of our men laboring just hours before our first service…and photos #119.04, 05, 06, 07, 08 show the finished product in service. This new building and property are worth a lot more money than could ever be afforded by man…so the Lord just did it. It is at least one full acre within the city limits and very accessible to the nearly 400,000 people in the area. We plan to work very hard to fill this building very soon and plan to build an addition this coming spring. PRAISE THE LORD FOR HIS WONDERFUL BLESSINGS. PLEASE REJOICE WITH US…AND LET US HEAR BACK FROM YOU…

In photos #119.09, 10, 11, 12 is recorded our Christmas celebration among the three families working together here…the Zanders, the Logans, and the Suteks. There are a few of our church family mingled in…this is in our home and we had a wonderful time together.

We did some caroling in the Gypsy section of the village of Racos where the Zanders minister. We borrowed two Gypsy carutsas (farm wagons) and serenaded the folk there with songs of our Saviour and some preaching of the gospel. Photo#119.13 we are all gathered and ready…photo #119.14 Mihai, one of our best men in Racos preaches to his neighbors 100 yards from his house…and photo #119.15 shows all of us on a street meeting in the center of Racos with Adrian, one of our Bible institute students preaching with the truth horn.
