THE SLIMIEST TOOL OF THE DEVIL

I have only lived my life, and not all of history…I do not claim to be any expert on

socialism, anthropology, political changes throughout history or even an expert

on all of the tricks and tools of the Devil…but in my opinion one of the most

effective methods used upon whole cultures, nations, or societies to draw them

away from any slightest interest in the things of God is the rapid rush of

materialism and seeming prosperity.

We are observing this method of satanic propaganda as it is thrust upon this

former communistic nation. These people have had much of religion, much of

poverty, much deprivation, much of overbearing rule, and very little of the Truth

of the Word of God or the God of the Truth of His Word.

Bro. Logan and myself came here at the tail end of the material depravation of

this nation…and with that change came a very evident and rapid decline

in their spiritual hunger. I believe the two are bedfellows and fit together well as

a socket fits over the proper bolt.

Rapid "wealth" spiritually deceives the masses in the following ways

1 "I will be rich"

--Everyone knows there is a very small percentage of people who ever become

rich in any culture, even a very wealthy culture.

--It is like the proverbial carrot on a stick that drives the dumb animal in

animated frustration to despair.

--It is like that which unfairly generates the lottery… "Someone must win…it

could be you."

2 Rapid "wealth" spoils any appetite for spiritual things.

--"Why squint in hopes of a pie in the sky by-in-by when you could have

it right now…instantly…

-- "Here…have a speed pill today…don't worry about any possible ill affects

this drug may have in the future.

3 Rapid "wealth" robs of character.

--The rush to obtain becomes a rout and even people of some character tag

along not wanting to be left alone in the dust.

-- Good folk who, under normal adversity would do right are now strongly

drawn away from "right" by a cultural lust.

4 Rapid "wealth" teases a false security.

--It matters not that the new appearance is the facade of carnival midway.

--It matters not that reality dictates that no economy can survive such rocket

thrust inflation.

--It matters not that the high of new credit must shortly be awakened by the

hangover of payments with interest

-- "Look, I have never had what the TV shows everybody else has…so, let me

ride this high wave and IF there's hell to pay…who knows and who cares.

This is what we are dealing with at the present moment. "Even so come Lord Jesus"

TIS THE SEASON……………..TO PREACH In photo #8001 my camera was only able to capture a small percentage of the multitude that were present to enjoy the lovely spring weather and hear the preaching of the Word of God at the same time and in the same place. Look real careful (take my word) and the person to the extreme left is Bro. Logan preaching. In Photo #8002 I sneaked up behind him while he was preaching. In photo #8003 is a man reading our new Euro tract while hearing Bro. Logan read the Romanian Bible at the same time.

Notice in photo #8004 the vehicle we recently purchased with Bro. Zander's money for his ministry in Racos…soon to be put to use when he arrives in May.

Now, notice that we fixed it up so that it would fit in real well in that Gypsy village. Sure hope he appreciates all our trouble.
