SWAT REPORT # 55 05-08-06

Pro 25:11 A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver.

Pro 25:12 As an earring of gold, and an ornament of fine gold, so is a wise reprover upon an obedient ear.

Pro 25:13 As the cold of snow in the time of harvest, so is a faithful messenger to them that send him: for he refresheth the soul of his masters.

SURROUNDED BY BEAUTY
The verses above are some of the most beautiful words in the entire Bible and sometimes we feel like we are living them out. When we preach His Word and the Holy Spirit works we are so honored to be part of a "word fitly spoken"… when we reprove and it falls upon an obedient ear it is so spiritually ornamental… when we faithfully deliver the message of the Lord and see souls refreshed thereby we realize that we are a central subject in the beautiful picture of God's plan.

RACOS APPLES OF GOLD
Some of the branches may need pruning but Racos village is still bearing fruit. Notice photos #5501 and 5502… Istvan fitly spoke the Word to this man and he became part of the picture of silver…type of redemption…and then the messenger preached the faithful message of the Lord, reproving these ladies and children bringing a refreshing to their souls as well as ours. We are so eager to obtain the building we are trying to purchase in this village so that these folk can have their own local church. The paperwork is still complicating this issue.

FAITHUL MESSENGERS FROM DUBLIN
Jerome Pittman, an American missionary in Ireland, brought a group of twelve faithful messengers to help us with another village named Bodila. There are 8,000 people in this village and 5,000 are Gypsies. We canvassed the entire village with tracts and flyers advertising a meeting that night (last Wednesday night)…we also held street meetings to announce the meeting where we also preached salvation. Notice photo # 5503. We are up on a high bank to the right in the photo. That night I preached to a bit more than 200 (see photo #5504). Some gathered to satisfy their curiosity…some for what they might get for free (we gave all in attendance New Testaments)…and some to hear the Word fitly spoken and adorn themselves therewith. Under these conditions I feel like I could preach till the cows come home (look close at photo #5505) and this is exactly what happened during the meeting. Notice photo # 5506 in the center foreground one of our ladies is dealing with some teen girls, three of which were gloriously saved, and in the background others are receiving their complimentary New Testament.

MINISTERING IN A SPIRITUAL POSTCARD
All of the above taking place against the backdrop of photo #5507. What beautiful pictures surround the busy, but contented servant of the Lord Jesus Christ.

FAITHFUL MESSENGERS IN SILVER PICTURES
Robin framed the whole picture of 12 fellow-helpers from Ireland in the beautiful frame of gifted hospitality matted with a wonderful and willing spirit… when's the last time you had 12 houseguests to care for, for a week? Mary Bethany made her debut on the violin in church this past Sunday night accompanied by one of our men on the piano producing a spiritually tasty dish of apples of gold. They played "I surrender all."

If you have a place in the picture of the Lord's service it really doesn't matter whether the end result is the same as stated above nor if you are not surrounded by natural beauty…just being in the center of the Lord's will is enough to make life beautiful. "Rejoice evermore"
