SWAT REPORT # 54   04-17-06

 The Lord is building His church

 Mat 16:18  And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

 Photo # 5401 shows our good attendance yesterday…47 in the morning service…Praise the Lord…As in ANY church we have many diversities…age, culture, background, income, education and spiritual maturity but we do see it coming together.  We have a family coming from a village 30 minutes away. They always pack a pew or two with their relatives.   One young lady who came with this family was gloriously saved last Sunday morning and photo # 5402 shows six young men (all in the back row) that came with this family this Sunday who were very excited to be under good preaching and God-honoring music. These young men range in age from 15 thru 19 and must be of some relation to the family.   Bro. Logan and I truly lick our lips when we see young men like this that show a spark of flame in their interest for the Lord. 

 A BOY AND HIS BURROW

 Pro 12:10  A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.

 The boys in photo # 5403 are far from righteous but they do regard their beast with great care.  In USA every boy should have a dog…but in Racos village every boy dreams about owning his own burrow one day.  These Hungarian boys did stop and listen to the preaching for a while but must have had pressing chores to attend to.  Brother Logan and I were talking about the spiritual future of Racos village…and who may be the one to pastor this fetal church…he made the statement that the future pastor may be somewhere in the town part of the village and possibly not even saved yet.  How wonderful it is to watch the Lord do His work in His time…and to be part of it…to be able to see a good portion of the whole picture and to see that you are a significant subject in that picture.  There is nothing to equal the ministry and service of the Lord Jesus Christ.

 FAMILY REPORT

 Mat 6:33  But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

 The Lord sure does take good care of us.  The Lord has used our home as a haven of rest to quite a few folks.   This is a direct answer to prayer while we were preparing to move to Romania 1 ½ years ago…isn’t that unbelievable…Our dear friends Paul and Susan Hamilton stayed a night with us last week and our families got caught up on American Christian Fellowship (a spiritual term for gossip).  We have Bro. Pittman’s church from Dublin, Ireland coming the last of next week and other groups are getting their schedules together.  We truly praise the Lord for our Christ-centered house and home here in Romania…would you like to take a look?????????

 Photo 5404 is our neighborhood from a nearby mountain with our house circled in the center….Oh, you can’t see much from this far away…look at photo 5405 and you will see a fuzzy blowup of that center circle which is our house…now we do not occupy ALL of that building…but the section on the right side toward the rear of the house is all ours…Oh, you still can’t see much…well, photo # 5406 shows Mary brushing her teeth and……………oh yes, the always present book in the other hand…It is a good thing she will study higher math next year in school…she may be able to total the number of books she has read.
