THE SCRIPTURES IN RACOS VILLAGE
Deu 6:7 And thou shalt teach them
diligently unto thy children…
This
Saturday in Racos I observed how that things have not changed that much since Bible
times…if you have an eye for seeing things in light of scripture. Dan, one of
our Bible institute students, was teaching the children in photo #5107. I
know you have seen similar photos in my reports in the past but observe several things
here…the kids are still coming after nearly a year…there are adults behind the
children but because of the angle of the camera they cannot be seen…also notice that
the kids are up on the old foundation of a house to keep them from sinking into the
mud. Soon we will have a nice warm building less than 200 yards from this location
and we pray we can pack it out with kids and adults.
1Co 7:31 … for the fashion of
this world passeth away.
Photo # 5102 shows the backside of the kids as they
listen…but look closer…see the girl in patent leather spike heels…need a
closer look…Photo #5103…her foot probably barely reaches past the arch of these
shoes but they were made for a very fashionable Amazon woman. One spike is
missing but she has shoes…and probably is the envy of the gang. I did not
select this to jerk your tears and humanitarian giving…there are plenty of agencies
to provide clothing for these kids and we have done some of that as well…it was just
really funny to observe…the probability is that she wears these by choice.
2Sa 1:18 (Also he bade them teach the

Wal-Mart. No doubt these boys are as happy, or
happier with their bows as any rich
kid, and all kids are rich in the USA, in America.

Hey gals…when’s the last time you
played hopscotch in the MUD? That’s what is happening in photo
#5106. I watched and it is the exact game. Oh, for the simple days and games
of 6 millenniums previous.

the city by a river side, where prayer was wont to be made; …
In photo #5104 Istvan, another of our Bible
Institute students, is praying with some folk who requested spiritual guidance.
It would be great if more people would request spiritual guidance and that prayer
could be made instantly upon every street.
Dan 4:32 And they shall drive thee from men,
and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field: …
Unless you grew up in the very rural setting
of WV or KY most of 100 years ago you have never known a dwelling like this in
Photo #5101…they do have a beautiful view although it cannot be seen in this
photo…Robin, my wife, said if the same view were in America all the rich folk would
own the land planning to build their earthly mansions.
We had several first time visitors this past
Sunday morning and evening…we had 43 in the morning service with a couple out
sick…not too many less than that in the evening service…we had a grown man saved
on Sunday AM who came as a result of an invitation during one of our street
meetings. Another man came for the first time Sunday PM because he found a tract on
the ground with a map to our church. We told our folk not to pass them out
anymore…just drop them on the ground.
On Sunday nights we have Bible drill for kids
as well as adults. For the very little folk we have Trivia from the AM Sunday
School. Benjamin Logan, 12 year old son of my partner Brent Logan, did a very
excellent job teaching the 10 commandments to the children’s SS class so the trivia
was about the 10 commandments. These kids are 6 and under. I asked, “What
were you absolutely not allowed to do on the Sabbath day”? Paul, 5 quickly
answered, “Sin!”…we all had a good laugh…I followed it up with,
“There are 6 days in which man can sin…but…” It took a few
minutes to get the congregation back under control as well as myself.
