SWAT REPORT # 44
12-26-05
(Rom
1:10 KJV) Making request, if by any means now at length I might have a prosperous
journey by the will of God to come unto you. 11. For I long to see you,
that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be
established; THE RACOS
BLITZ
The verses above seemed appropriate for
this report seeing that our church longed to see our folk in Racos
that
we came unto them
and we imparted unto them gifts
some
spiritual and some material. What a day we had
we loaded 15 of
our folk in the van and journeyed from our church 1hour to Racos village
we always
have good fellowship in the van
singing
talking
sometimes preaching out the
window to villages as we pass through them. When we arrived we Christmased
our brethren there with practical gifts to help them get through the winter as well as
toys for the kids. Then all 28 of us walked several miles through the village
singing the songs of Zion
and preaching the gospel
thus imparting to one and all
spiritual gifts. See Photo 4402 and 4403. Mihai is preaching in
photo #4404 on a hill overlooking his close neighborhood
he is preaching to
relatives, neighbors and friends he has known all his life. His family has a three
generation history there. Mihai has been saved only four months
try this out,
some of you big, tough, brave Christian men. Six of our street preachers preached
throughout the village. The hearts of the people seemed to be stirred that we would
care that much for their village. The weather did not lend itself to a gathering but
folks poked their heads out along the way
See photo SR4405. The music in this
village this time of year is usually the song of the drunkard and his slovenly tongue.
The people have to notice that the Orthodox, Catholic, nor Pentecostal bother to
walk in the cold snow to deliver such an expensive gift
they must not value it very
high. The day ended in a snowball fight
see photo SR4406
a Christian
snowball fight though. One of our most conservative ladies, Emese, threw one that
knocked my hat off
I warned her of some church discipline the following day. DANIEL PREACHES FOR # 11 Our eleventh street preacher in our
church preached for the first time on Friday night in the center of town, his town, to a
good crowd of celebrators of the season. See photo SR4401. He is a natural at
publick ministry and once he got started we had a difficult time stopping him.
Sunday night we had all the street preachers present up on the platform singing
Victory in Jesus
in both Romanian and English
on the final verse I
had all of the males who would one day like to preach on the street come up and join
us
Mihais older brother Anghil came along with about 4 little future street
preachers ranging in age from 10 and down. Our church has a bright future. In this last report of the year I would
like to thank very much those who support us in both prayer and finance and wish you the
best New Year of your life
Even so come Lord Jesus. We had new prayer cards made and two
will be in the envelope with every newsletter sent out first week in January. If you
do not receive a snail mail newsletter and want one or two
just call Word For The
World mission at 706-866-8826 and ask them to send you as many Suteks prayer cards
as you can use
our photo was taken at beautiful Sinaia castle an hour south of
Brasov. We will take you there if you will come. We have plenty of cards so spread
them around
thanks
if you just want this photo
request and I will send it
to you via email. Give us a call before long
