(Below is the notice the merchants posted around town.  They lied about the "God destroying the village" quote,   it was never said by the preachers.)

These noisy gongs and clanging cymbals are not a representation from Berlin. They are from Brewster Baptist Church. Their robotic screaming is an annoyance to the tourists as well as the local business owners. We as Christian or non-Christian business owners apologize for their mechanical and robot like misrepresentation of the gospel. As ambassadors for Christ a true representation of God’s Kingdom is required. The abrasive, arrogant and obnoxious attitude toward the local business owners and tourists is totally uncalled for. We, as business owners, were told by those from Brewster Baptist Church that if they leave Berlin and shake the dust off their feet in protest that God will destroy this village. We as business owners are keenly aware that God is the cause and in control of our flourishing businesses and we encourage Brewster Baptist to leave our village.
