YOU CAN'T DO THAT HERE! The Azores are a very traditional place. Despite this, Mike Weirich was convinced the Lord wanted him to use old fashioned STREET PREACHING. Conventional wisdom said that this just won't work. And Mike had had his share of people turning deaf ears. In one case, a priest ran up and down the streets warning people not to listen!  And yet some did listen and trusted Christ as Savior.  Unfortunately not many have followed through on their profession, often refusing baptism as a step of obedience.
