unto me, and there are many adversaries.
A GREAT DOOR
Truly a great door has been set before us in the starting of a Bible Institute in Iligan City in the Philippines and we are leaving to go through that door on January 2, 2012. We are ready, willing and able to get started in this new ministry but the adversaries abound. We have completed our 4 ½ months of presenting this ministry to the churches and the good Lord has blessed with a good amount of start-up money Praise the good Lord. We have a DVD of the ministry and have mailed out nearly 100 of them. If you did not receive a DVD but would like to have one please email me gsutek@streetpreaching.com and ask for one.
Many of you have prayed for our container problems. It was delayed nearly six weeks due to bureaucratic problems but is now on the way to PI. In the mean time you might have read in the news of the horrific floods in PI due to a typhoon. The worst of this disaster struck exactly where we are going to serve. The entire church where we will serve has been washed away and had my container left when I wanted it to leave it would have been washed out to sea. The next newsletter and email SWAT REPORT will be sent from our ministry in PI. The rest of this report will consist of the URGENT notice I sent out just a few days ago which many of you did not receive because you do not get my email reports.
URGENT URGENT URGENT
PRAY AND HELP
Some of you may have read this morning the second most important article on international news (after the current politics) the flash floods in the Philippines. These floods took place in the exact spot where we will fly into in two weeks. In fact, the very church where we will be working is
TOTALLY GONE WIPED OUT!!!
Three children that were living in the church are missing and the wife of one of the printers has been killed. A 40 container where they stored 59,000 lbs of King James/Cebuano Bibles has been carried out to sea. Some of these Bibles had already been distributed but many were lost.
Pastor Ruben Sulapas and family are safe but must begin anew with property for the church. THIS DIRECTLY AFFECTS OUR MINISTRY since we will be working in and through this church and were hoping to use some of its facilities in our institute at least for a time.
Pastor Mike Veach, and his church First Bible Church of Staten Is. NY have been deeply involved in this ministry for many years and they are asking, as we are, for much fervent prayer concerning this disaster. If the Lord moves on anyones heart to help in ways besides prayer they can send help to either
