SWAT Team for Christ
ALL THE WORLD
Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

All the world is a tall order to fill and many may come up short on this.   If you have followed the SWAT TEAM over the past 23 years you know that we have done what we could in offering the gospel to as much of the world as is physically and geographically possible.  We have preached publickly in all 50 states many times and beyond the shores of America we have now preached in 31 countries publickly.  Nearly 16 years ago we were on the road preaching the gospel in the Philippines and helping to start men and churches get publick ministries started.  While there we picked up a souvenir by the name of Mary Bethany.   Our daughter has now graduated from high school and the good Lord has made it very evident to the three in our family that it is time to fulfill the long standing promise to her biological father back in the Philippines to bring her back for a visit.  Add to this the many publick ministries we helped start there who have desired our return to blow on their coals and join with them once again to minister the gospel in publick in the Philippines.   We plan to make this trip in late November or early December of this year.  We have a SWAT-Philippines fund set up with Word for the World Baptist Missions to help fund this trip.   This will be a very expensive trip and if you would like to help just send a check made out to WFTW and designated to SWAT-Philippines. Mailing address is WFTW  PO Box 849 Rossville, GA 30741.  Thanks in advance.

MORE BOOKS

Five new books will be made available for purchase by the end of the year.   One is available now from European Missionary Press in Germany.  Sermons for Life will be a help to anyone who ministers the Word of God.  Check out the flyer accompanying this newsletter.  The other books will be announced via my email SWAT REPORTS as they are printed in the near future. If you would like to receive the reports about twice a month just request via email gsutek@streetpreaching.com.

ADDITION COMPLETED AND ENJOYED

We had 47 in attendance Sunday AM and I can’t imagine what we did before the addition was finished.  The SS room, nursery and restrooms are so lovely and enjoyable.  Sunday PM we had a small surprise for one of our girls whose birthday made here 12.  The addition made it possible and enjoyable. Thanks to Spring City Bapt. And Capital City Bapt. Churches

 PRISONERS FREED WEEKLY

The prison ministry has been such a blessing to us and men are saved every week.  We have visited in some of their homes and witnessed to their relatives.  One man is being released this week and promises to attend our church on Sunday…WOW. It sure is uplifting to see these muscle-head, tattooed, society rejects singing “Oh How I Love Jesus”.

CHILDREN’S HOME WELCOMES GOSPEL

Adrian, one of our preachers, has taken charge of the children’s home preaching ministry and is doing a faithful, diligent job.  He has very good rapport with the children and he loves them.  Adrian has asked one of our older (70+) men to give testimony to the children this week as to what his life might have been like if he had gotten saved as a child.  Peter was saved as an adult during the hard-core communist times.  I will try to get a photo of this combination of Peter and the children.

RUSSIAN YOUTH CAMP

I have been privileged for two years now to preach the week in a Russian youth camp in Odessa, Ukraine on the Black Sea.  This year 120 youth learned about how to “Prepare for the Abundant Life”.   What a joy to serve in a capacity like this.

PERSONAL

Mary Bethany is enjoying a leisurely summer after her graduation and is in a holding pattern for her next assignment.  We hope this Philippines trip will be both a blessing and vision for her.  Robin is enjoying “NO SCHOOL PTL”.  Please pray, it might be possible for Mary’s older (23) sister to come from the Philippines and spend some time with us here in Romania.  Mary is about to jump out of her skin.  She has never known her sister as Joy was 6  when we  took Mary.  Both  are tearfully anxious.

The SWAT TEAM has always been on the move and if we do all that is planned this coming year we will need a motor-airplane instead of a motor-home.  We love serving our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ.
