MARX IS DEAD...CHRIST IS ALIVE
This was the message as I preached from the platform holding a five story black marble head of Karl Marx. Demigods come and demigods go but our Lord Jesus Christ will trample or save them all. This statue is in Chemnitz, Germany...formerly Karl Marx City...East Germany under Soviet rule until 1989. Isn't it great to be on the winning side.
EURO-BLITZ SUCCESSFUL
The third annual Euro-blitz was a grand success. We had preachers come from Germany, Ukraine, Great Britain, America and the local crowd. There is always room for more and one day we would like to be the meeting that encourages a great many missionaries and national preachers all over Europe. We had a Chinese lady saved on her knees right in the heart of Central Train Station in Amsterdam, Holland. A 19 year old young man trusted Christ with his hand on a Bible and tears in his eyes in Konstance, Germany. This is the same city where they burned Jon Hus at the stake. This young man hugged Nico Verhouf who led him to the Saviour. We held several meetings in Central Station plaza in Amsterdam. We also preached in the large pedestrian plaza in Frankfurt, Germany with missionary Troy Green and his family. We preached also in St. Galens, Switzerland with Nico and in Dresden, Germany and over into Poland with missionary Rick Weimer and his family. Tom Hall accompanied me the whole way and we also had Danny and Gail Alford and missionary Stan Kamps from Canada along for some of the meetings. Missionary Jake Huussen and his family are always the hosts with the most and is very attentive to all the needs of the attendees. If you would like to come next year please let us know. If you can pass tracts, hold a sign, preach or witness we would love to have you. The Holy Spirit may have moved on in His venture for the harvest but there are still gleanings to be found in western Europe. Come glean with us next year.
ON THE STREETS
This month we preached in Wilmigton, DE. with Pastor Kirk Christianson and his platoon. We arrived in the pedestrian only section and found a Black Muslim selling his deceptive wares. We set up shop right next to him and preached the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. "(Jer 23:28) "The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the LORD." In Dover, DE. we held the now famous twin towers banner and preached "If you were on the 82nd floor...where would you spend eternity" to the delight of many passersby. While I was gone preaching in Europe my family joined with a couple of churches preaching the gospel in Harrington, Dover, and Smyrna, DE.
IN THE CHURCHES
We had the honour to minister in the following churches this past month. Cornerstone Bible Fellowship, Pastor Kirk Christianson, Marydel, MD., 1st Bapt., (new Pastor) Pastor Rocky Shanks, Frederica, DE. I also ministered in the churches of the missionaries represented in the second paragraph throughout Europe. BLITZ SEASON IS GETTING ON There is still time for you and your family to make plans to attend one of the two final Blitz's for 2003. I am heading toward NY. State tomorrow for the blitz held in Joe Cammilleri's church near Rochester, NY. All the info is on my website and we would love to have you come. We will preach the gospel in Rochester, Buffalo, and Niagara Falls, NY. plus great preaching, teaching and fellowship in the church.
