"The nations shall rush like the rushing of many waters: but God shall rebuke them, and they shall flee far off, and shall be chased as the chaff of the mountains before the wind, and like a rolling thing before the whirlwind." Isaiah 17:13
LORDS VOICE HEARD AT NIAGARA FALLS
The New York Blitz at Rochester, Buffalo and Niagara Falls was a tremendous success. We had many folk saved and lots of young first timer street preachers. We had three giant God-and-Country Rallies in the center of these cities with a huge PA system which projected the message of the gospel for many blocks in several directions. Nearly a hundred of us formed a gauntlet down a two block street in Rochester, NY which ended at the entrance to an evening rock concert. The attendees had to endure two solid blocks of gospel pounding in order to "enjoy" their worship with the devil. We had over 200 out at Niagara Falls. We preached to many nations visiting the falls. Notice how appropriate the verse above fits this scene. I sang "How Great Thou Art" and preached to many Muslims that "My God is the greatest of all". You would think that in a National park of a "free" country with a permit to preach and a constitution to back me up that all would go smoothly. Well, not exactly those Muslims who are visiting from a non-free country complained to the park police and we received a mild rebuke for not considering that "there are many other religions visiting our park". Let them get their own permit and they can preach Mohammed at Niagara Falls in the USA.
ON THE STREETS
We had 13 street meetings this month and here is what took place. Wooster, OH was awakened out of their sleepy mid-western doldrums by the cry from the Lord to consider their ways. Cazenovia, NY was enjoying a farmers market and at the end of our street meeting across the street came a young lady with a drawing she had made as a gift for us. It depicted some angels with wings and she was being sweet. When Pastor Mike Varner began to explain that salvation is not in the Blessed Virgin, she got mad and promptly took back her gift. Bro. Varner really took a loss that day. While preaching in Syracuse, NY we found a spot where there was a live video camera trained on the park. They broadcast it live on the web so I contacted many email friends and some were able to view our meeting live even from Holland, Ireland and Philippines. Several were saved as we used a huge PA to blast city hall in Buffalo, NY. A rent-a-cop- in Detroit, MI. commanded us to move two feet forward in order to stay off the property of the old court house. What a job! In Pontiac, MI ten year old D.J. Todd preached to a crowd in an open air café under the supervision of the SWAT team and his dad Mike Todd. In Galesburg, IL Prairieland Bapt. and their fine pastor, Gary Bane got their first taste of PM in their own community. A good time was had by all. They plan to continue. PTL
