Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?
Psalm 94:16

THE GREATEST GOD OF ALL

Certainly, without doubt, we have and serve the greatest God of all. If I thought there might be a greater God then I would switch and have the greatest. That is where I am right now. I switched from the god of this world and now I have the greatest God of all. It was Sunday afternoon at the BEALE STREET BLAST in Memphis, TN. We had a tremendous street preacher’s convention and the world had their big party. We are "faint yet pursuing" and the world is hung over but still trying to pump up a dead party. As I strolled down Beale Street I notice a park which normally is occupied with a loud rock concert but on this lazy Sunday afternoon it was quiet and occupied with about a hundred and fifty lethargic hung-overs. I casually made my way up onto the empty stage of a large band shell and with my accordion began to sing with all my might… "How Great Thou Art". Some were quiet and seemed to enjoy the contrast in entertainment. Some immediately began to mock and try their best to intimidate me. One guy ran by the front of the stage and threw some dollars on the stage which drew the jeers of many others. I never missed a beat of the song but made my way to the edge of the stage and with great disdain kicked the money off and into the pit before the first row of theater seats as if to say, "I don’t need your money". Then I reached into my pocket and took a handful of twenty-dollar-bill-gospel-tracts and threw them into the audience. They cheered and listened to the rest of the song. When I finished, I had the ear of my audience. I preached for 15-20 minutes on "I’ve got the greatest God of all". "My God is greater than your god…He is bigger than your god, He is stronger than your god, He is richer than your god and He loves me more than your god loves you…regardless of what or who your god may be." I then entered into the gospel message and was heard by all at the end of their frivolous party.

ON THE STREETS

We preached many times on Beale St. in Memphis, TN. as well as Halls, TN. and Indianapolis, IN. When the weather is good, Indianapolis affords one of the best places to preach that I know. The weather was brilliant when I preached there and many scores of business "lunchers" occupied the giant monument in Indianapolis. Although apathy reigned high, they received a warning of the consequences of their sin. There is always someone listening in the back but they are hard to notice. The Lord has a reason for the prophet to be there even if to "testify against them" Mt. 10:18. They knew there had been a prophet among them. Ezek. 2:5

IN THE CHURCHES

We were honored to minister in the following churches this past month. Grace Bible Bapt., Pastor Jerry Hickson, Halls, TN., Sweet Springs Bapt., Pastor Joel Logan, Ardmore, AL., Priceville, Bapt., Pastor Wyman Logan, Priceville, AL., Anchor Bapt., Pastor Gaylon Dawson, Murphreesboro, TN., Irvington Bible Bapt., Pastor Robt. Jaynes, Indianapolis, IN., Faith Freewill Bapt., Pastor Terry Hardison, New Berlin, WI., (while I preached here a 16 year old girl named Shelly trusted the Lord and never missed attendance the rest of the meeting), Christ the King Church, Pastor Ralph Ovidal, Monroe, WI., King James Bible Bapt., and Pastor Chris Huff, Mt. Prospect, IL. I also preached at the Milwaukee Rescue Mission to about 150 men…of which about a dozen got right with the Lord. P.T.L. I also preached at a Memorial Day picnic for an inner city church in Chicago, IL where two adults trusted the Lord as their Saviour.

ARE YOU MISSING OUT?????

We now have at least five street preacher’s conventions scattered across the U.S. and one in Europe. These meetings are some of the best meetings I have ever attended in 35 years in the ministry. They combine great preaching, music and teaching with exhilarating on-the-street training in major cities. Check the web for the full schedule and make your plans to attend all of these that you possibly can. Don’t be a camp meeting potato when you can be a Special Forces soldier at the front.

PRAY FOR MARY BETHANY

Mary has not been entirely well for quite a while. Many of the doctors we have had her to blamed allergies so we have loaded her up with natural herbs but with little or no results. A doctor in Indianapolis, IN. ran a blood test on Mary and did not like what he saw. He said she was a "very sick girl". Many of you are aware of here direct link to serious cancer via her mother who died when Mary was a year and a half old. He advised us to stay put here for 30 days worth of treatments in hopes that things might change. A second blood test yielded very positive results so we rejoice but she still could use your prayers.

We continue to have need of nothing but your prayer...
